A Parks and Rec Program Was Courtney's First Step to Worlds
Saturday October 6, 2007
Courtney Lynn Donovan of Fountain Valley, California is an example of the doors that a good beginner skating program can open.
Courtney discovered a love for rollersports at age five when she began skating in a Parks and Recreation beginner level class in her neighborhood. Now, after many years of lessons and competitions, she is our National Champion in World Class Ladies Inline Freeskating and a four-time member of Team USA. Courtney Donovan will join our other inline skating champions, Shauna McCullough and James Johnson to represent the United States in Australia at the World Roller Figure Skating Championship in the inline ladies' and men's freeskating events.
