Raniero Loves to Shoot Inline Figure Skaters

And, it's no surprise that inline figure skaters also love to be shot by Raniero Corbelletti, since he is one of the best action photographers to ever pass through the roller figure sports. When roller figure skaters came from all over the world for the 2007 World Championships, Raniero delivered a selection of dramatic and memorable photographs of each skater's performances. I had to look carefully through my world photos to find a picture of Raniero at work - he is the little dot behind the sea of clipboards. He usually becomes an invisible man hidden in corners or obscured by judges, so he can get the good angles and candid shots. We often forget he's there until it's time to order photos and calendars or we see his smiling face between events.
