Crosstrain for Basic Inline Skating On Carpet Skates

Saturday January 12, 2008
As a child, I slid around in my socks on hardwood floors to pretend I was skating. Now, carpet skates can provide the same glide on any carpet. Sliding on carpet in these friction resistant carpet skates is a safe skating alternative for beginners who are learning basic skills for inline skating, quad skating, ice skating or even skateboarding. Any carpeted room can become your own personal skating rink. Carpet skates provide a gliding sensation that's a reasonable skating substitute for learning fundamental skating skills or balancing techniques. They are great crosstraining for simple spins, too. Even more important is the fun they provide.

They have a dense foam pad that helps secure your feet to the base. Just strap the skates to sports shoes, and you're ready to go. They are safe to walk in and one size fits all, so anyone from six-year-olds (with parental supervision) to adults can use them.
