On Saturday July 26, 2008 a free inline skating clinic will be held in the Metro Chicago area at the Prairie Stone Park in Hoffman Estates (intersection of I-90 and Route 59) at 1pm. This training will help skaters prepare for the 2008 Chicagoland Inline Marathon which will skate at the same location, or anyone who is interested can just come to the clinic to tune up inline skatiing skills. The free clinic will last about 1.5 hours. There will also be time set aside for questions and answers. All ages and skating levels are welcome.

The clinic will cover these subjects:

• Getting started on skates
• Stopping
• Basic skating skills
• Skating on hills
• Controlling speed
• Beginning speed skating
• Skating in a pace line
• Skate maintenance
