Let's Blog Our Way Into the Olympics
Monday August 18, 2008
I've been writing about the Olympic dream of getting inline racing into the 2016 Games. This is my effort to help keep the buzz going on the internet and help get inline roller sports into the Games.
Other sites like the Inline Planet have been doing the same, and some have been doing so for quite a while. Individuals and groups are helping to promote inline via Olympic specific speed blogs, personal site comments or inline racing forums.
Whatever the method, we should share information, ideas and opinions, visit sites and make comments when we can. The Olympics is a numbers game, and we need to have our sport show up in search engines related to Olympics as much as possible to demonstrate our value and interest to the powers that be.
If your site or blog has discussions or articles of interest that I've missed, let me know, and I'll cross link to you in existing or new content. There is power in digital media numbers.

I think that the demonstration events for the 2012 games have already been decided. I would be happy to accept that I am wrong. I wrote in my blog last year
