Inline Racers Are Prepared for a Worlds of Their Own

Inline racers around the world are prepared for the 2008 Inline Speed Skating World Championships, and the officials and planners in Gijon, Spain have worked hard to get ready for their arrival. A new covered banked track has been built in Mordea for the event, the marathon will flow through city streets in Mestras and the road skating competitions will take place at a 10,000 spectator facility in Mestras.

Today, the skaters are training in the official venues in Gijon, Asturias, Spain. They will take a break to rehearse for the opening ceremony. The 2008 Inline Speed Skating World Championships will officially be held from September 4-12.
