Fabiola Flips Into Vert Skating History

The inline vert skating finals at the 2008 LG World Championships in Seattle, Washington resulted in a woman standing on the podium for the first time in that event's history. Fabiola da Silva of Sao Paulo, Brazil was the only woman skating in any of the championship events. This was her best placement in the Inline Skating Vert at the LG World Championships.

Inline Skating Vert Final Results:
  1. Marco de Santi (Sao Paulo, Brazil) - $12,500 Gold Medalist
  2. Shane Yost (Lauceton, Tasmania) - $8,500 Silver Medalist
  3. Fabiola da Silva (Sao Paulo, Brazil) - $4,000 Bronze Medalist
  4. Borja Fernandez (Bilbao, Spain)
  5. Sven Boerkhorst (Den Bosch, Holland)
  6. Thumper Nagasako (Maui, Hawaii, USA)
  7. Marc Englehart (Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA)
Fabiola also received a Bronze Medal in the Inline Skating Street event at the 2008 LG World Championships.
