The Greening of America - One Skate at a Time

Wednesday May 13, 2009
Automobiles, motorcycles and power scooters emit fumes and waste fuel at a time when costs are crazy. But, every time you inline skate to a nearby destination, you are helping to save the green world and stretch your own green budget, because your energy is the fossil fuel that moves you with the speed of a small vehicle. Skaters get all of the benefits of being a pedestrian while cruising. Parking is always free. You get door-to-door valet service. Window shopping is a snap. You reach your final destination, take your vehicle in with you and still have change jingling in your pocket.
