Try a Friday Fright Skate
Skate through the frights of San Francisco in wild costumes to celebrate Halloween with the Midnight Rollers. They plan to haunt the streets with a special spooky version of the San Francisco Friday Night Skate on Friday, October 30, 2009.
The spooky roll will start at the Ferry Plaza in front of the Ferry Building at Market Street and the Embarcadero. Join the GodFather of Skating, David Miles, as he grooves to the old school funk and roller disco beat from 7:30 to 9:00pm. The Midnight Rollers want you to wear your wildest, sexiest, oddest and weirdest costumes for this skating adventure.
At 9:00 the 10 mile skating party and tour will start to roll through hot spots like Pier 39, Aquatic Park, the Palace of Fine Arts, Union Street, the Broadway and Stockton Tunnels, the Concrete Canyons and will return to the Ferry Building.
Visit the California Outdoor Rollerskaters Association for more details on this and other Friday Night Skate events in the San Francisco Bay area.
