There is only one thing better than having a skating buddy to share your goals and all the work that it takes to achieve them - and that is a life partner who is willing to grow along with you in the love of the sport while sharing romance, too.
Partnering with your significant other takes on a new meaning for some skaters like quad artistic roller dance skaters Kyle Turley and Heather Menard Turley. They grew up on roller skates in two different regions of the country, became champions in their own right, skated with other partners and even in the same events. Each respected the others work ethics and skating skills. And like many kids in USA Roller Sports who cross paths a few times each season at the big championships, they watched each other grow in their love of flying on small round wings.
As the field of qualified partners in Heather (Michigan) and Kyle's (Texas) home states and skating regions narrowed, and they got older, more mature and willing to travel for an opportunity to be the best - a new World Class roller dance team was born.
After many seasons of leading our country in competitive dance and wowing the world with both competitive international event placements and entertainment, they knew for sure that they shared two loves - skating and each other.
