Skate Right Into 2013

By December 28, 2012

Follow me on:

How are you going to ring in 2013?

If there is a skating center nearby, there is an affordable, safe, liquor-free holiday New Year'scelebration just waiting for you to roll-through on December 31st. Our local Michigan rinks have great music, mirror balls, decorations, balloon drops plus a full house of inline and roller skaters - and I'd be willing to bet that rinks all over the country do the same. You don't need a date, although you just might meet someone.

If you are a single skater looking for others who share your interests or a normal person with no skating addictions who just happens to beattracted to skaters, you can continue to use inline and roller skating activities for more than fitness. When you own skates and other needed gear, skating tours, roller sports camps, private instruction or club membership is cheap compared to other not-so-healthy things singles, friends and couples sometimes do for recreation and to make friends. With or without a mate, you are never out of place at roller sports events.
