Zug is Done – But There's More Inline Cup Races to Come

The big fox is flying and the 2008 World Inline Cup marathon races are well under way. These events feature the best skaters in the world at the start of each event and combine fun, festivities and many cultures. Joey Mantia (USA) was the clear winner of the first World Inline Cup race of 2008 in Zugersee, Switzerland on April19th. The Colombian sprinter, Cecilia Baena, won the women's speed division.

Men's Speed Results:

  3. Massimiliano Presti – ITA – Luigino Answer Wheels
  4. Andres Munoz – COL – Matter Inline Center World
  5. Francesco Zangarini – ITA – Rollerblade MPC World
  6. Jorge Rosero – COL – Rollerblade MPC World
  7. Naselli Claudio – ITA – Luigino Answer Wheels
Women's Speed Results:
  1. Cecilia Baena – COL – Bont Wheels
  2. Nicole Begg – NZL – Bont Wheels
  3. Sandra Gomez – ESP – Powerslide Alessi World
  4. Nathalie Barbotin – FRA – Powerslide Alessi World
  5. Alexandra Vivas – COL – Bont Wheels
There are three events scheduled in May – on the 3rd, 17th and 25th. And the action continues in June, July, August and September.
