180 Jump in Aggressive Vert Inline Skating

By , About.com Guide

Definition: 180 is a shortened name for 180 degrees of rotation in the air, which lands the skater facing in the opposite direction from the original direction of take-off. This is one-half of a revolution in the air. There are a lot of variations of this based on body position and the structure used for take-off in vertical or aggressive skating. Half jumps exist by other names in other forms of skating, too. But usually other disciplines will use their preferred name when referring to these jumps.
Also Known As: 180, half jump
