Courtney, a Fountain Valley, California resident, is a great example of what a good beginner basic skills skating program can lead to, since she discovered her love for roller sports at age five in a local Parks and Recreation class in her neighborhood. Now, after many seasons of lessons and competitive experience, she is currently coached by Rene Johnson, is our National Champion in Inline Creative Solo Freedance, the National Silver Medalist in World Class Ladies Inline Freeskating and is also a seven-time member of Team USA. Courtney has participated in World Championships in Fresno, California; Rome, Italy; Murcia, Spain and Gold Coast, Australia and other countries. She has also participated in international ice skating competition in 2008 in Vienna Austria.
She puts on a good show in other aspects of her life, too. Courtney was an honor student who graduated as a Scholar of Distinction from the Fountain Valley High School. And now, she is a Biology Major at the University of California, Irvine with the goal of becoming a Pediadontist.
Courtney loves eating ice cream, shopping at JC Penneys, and thrill rides at theme parks. She likes to surf the web for any links relating to school work. Her life is well balanced, because she has learned to accept her limitations as well as her achievements. Courtney credits her parents with getting her where she is today.
