Fall for Your Own Inline Skating

Thursday August 23, 2007
If you like inline skating, you will eventually fall for it. The best compliment I ever got from my dance partner was that I "fell very well" which made him feel that we were both safe from injury when skating as a team. That's because any skaters' ability to fall safely will determine how fast they should skate, the level of maneuvers they can execute, the difficulty of stunts that can be attempted and the other optional moves that should be skated. In a perfect world, good training would mean never falling, but in the real world, an inline skater can only be as good as the fall he or she can manage safely.
