Mom, Coach, Rink Operator and Inline Record Setter
Monday February 11, 2008
Susie Jackson of Canton, Michigan looks, talks and giggles like every other mom in the rink.
But, when she suits up for inline speed skating practice, everyone realizes that she is not just another parent. After 20 years away from the USARS Speed Skating scene, she returned to skate against her peers and not only won... she broke the record for the Grand Masters ladies inline speed skating event.
Now Susie is back in the saddle for the 2008 season on the SS2 Racing team. She is rolling proof that dedicated training and hard work really works.
