A Jolly Old Elf Could Be at Your Rink

By December 15, 2008

Follow me on:

Visit Santa at your inline or roller skating center, and you'll get a little exercise to help work off the feast without sacrificing precious holiday family time. And you might see some of Santa's elves in the skate shop, too. Many roller skating centers like the rink I teach at, Riverside Arena, offer one or more special sessions with Santa in person - and sometimes he actually rolls in on skates. Few know that the jolly old elf knows how to skate on inlines and quads. There are not many opportunities for him to go skating, but most little ones will love it if they get a chance to see him.

The Roller Skating Association has contact information for rinks near you. Most rinks will have rental inlines and roller skates for use by family members and holiday visitors who may not have their own equipment. This gives everyone a chance to skate around with Santa. If your rink offers inline skating activities and expects a visit or two from this fuzzy-faced rascal or one of his helpers, feel free to use the comments link below to leave your rink URL and times for others to see.
